The Wet Feet experience is designed to help young sailors feel comfortable on the water, and to experience the sport of sailing in the most positive way. Each group has a maximum of six participants, allowing close and supportive coaching and supervision.
The program is a half-day introduction for ages 5 to 8. You can choose mornings (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) or afternoons (1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.). Five-year old’s must have completed Grade Primary. You may register your Wet Feet sailor in multiple sessions throughout July and August, however full-day participation is not an option. Here are the session dates for 2019:

- July 8 to 12
- July 15 to 19
- July 22 to 26
- July 29 to August 2
- August 5 to 9
- August 12 to 16
- August 19 to 23
Instruction includes on-the-water sailing in Optimist dinghies with an instructor on board or close alongside, as well as shore-based boating related activities.
Cost for Participants
- $120 – program fee for a single Wet Feet session
- $16 – Annual Sail Nova Scotia fee
- Additional weeks cost $120 each.
